Northwestern College has approved new academic programs in entrepreneurship and statistics to be offered next fall. The college has also elevated the art therapy pre-professional program to a major and changed the secondary education endorsement to a major.

The scholarly work of 93 Northwestern College undergraduate and graduate students will be on display during the college’s Celebration of Research on Thursday, April 12, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Rowenhorst Student Center.

Northwestern College has been awarded a $1,000 grant from the Iowa Corn Collegiate Advisory Team for the purchase of items that will be used in the college’s revised business administration/agricultural business option.

Twenty-four Northwestern College academic programs are listed in the 2018 edition of Rugg’s Recommendations on the Colleges, a national guidebook that recommends specific college departments to prospective students.
