Eighteen of Northwestern’s academic programs are listed in the 2011 edition of "Rugg’s Recommendations on the Colleges."

Members of Northwestern's theatre department earned seven Certificates of Merit at the Region Five Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival.

The Cashore Marionettes will perform "Life in Motion," a series of scenes taken from everyday life and set to music by composers including Beethoven and Copland, Feb. 8.

Actress to present one-woman show on Annie Oakley
Lise "Kat" Evans, an actress, playwright and teacher from Chicago, will perform "So Much a Lady: The Life of Annie Oakley" Jan. 27 at 7:30 p.m. 

Northwestern will present RUSH 2011, a student dance concert, at 7:30 and 10 p.m. on Feb. 2, 3, 4 and 5 in the England Proscenium Theatre.

Directing student to present evening of one-acts
Northwestern College directing students will present 14 short plays Wednesday, Dec. 8.

The work of nine regional artists will be featured in an exhibition held Nov. 11-20 in the DeWitt Theatre Arts Center.

Actor Curt Cloninger will perform one-man shows in chapel services Nov. 15 and 16.
