Student-authored play to be performed
"The Bird Boy," by NWC junior Andrew Stam, has been selected for performance during Northwestern’s 16th annual World Premiere Festival.

Northwestern’s Symphonic Band will present its spring concert, “A Long Time Ago … Far, Far Away,” on April 29.

Dr. Luke Dahn, assistant professor of music, will have two of his compositions premiered this month.

Students present at research conference
Seventeen NWC students gave presentations at the Siouxland Social Science Research Conference in Sioux City on April 7.

Artists Lincoln Brewster, Superchick, Hawk Nelson and Go Fish will be among the musicians at RiseFest, presented by RISE Ministries June 25 at NWC.

NWC scientists to help investigate superbug infections
Dr. Elizabeth Truesdell and her students are teaming with researchers at the University of Iowa and physicians in Hawarden to investigate area MRSA infections.

A major refurbishing of part of the DeWitt Physical Fitness Center will include new flooring and lighting as well as an updated heating system.

Dr. Laurie Daily, education, will present a paper at two upcoming national conferences.

Northwestern College’s Women’s Choir and Chamber Orchestra will present a joint concert of Lenten music on April 15.
