Christmas Vespers service to be aired on KWIT

A recording of Northwestern College’s 2014 Christmas Vespers service will be aired twice this holiday season on public radio station KWIT, FM 90.3 in Sioux City, Iowa. The service, which featured numerous Northwestern music ensembles, will air at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 23, and again at 1 p.m. on Christmas Day.

Christmas Vespers had a theme of “My soul magnifies the Lord,” centered around Mary’s trust and faith in God as demonstrated by her “Magnificat” song of praise. The concert featured performances by the Brass Choir, Women’s Choir, A cappella Choir, Chamber Orchestra and Handbell Choir. It was presented in Christ Chapel on Dec. 6 and 7.
