NWC's Christmas Vespers to air on KWIT

A recording of Northwestern College’s 2013 Christmas Vespers service will be aired twice this holiday season on public radio station KWIT, FM 90.3 in Sioux City, Iowa. The service, which featured numerous Northwestern music ensembles, will air at 3 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 20, and again at 1 p.m. on Christmas Day.

Christmas Vespers had a theme of “Gloria,” focusing on the idea of giving “glory to God in the highest.” The largest work of the concert was John Rutter’s festive “Gloria,” performed by the A cappella Choir, brass and percussion, organ, and three student soloists. It was presented in Christ Chapel on Dec. 7 and 8.
