Northwestern students to present research

Four Northwestern College senior athletic training majors will present their research at the 2012 CNOS Foundation Sports Medicine Symposium in Sioux City on April 27.
Derrick Moss of Hull, Iowa, and Michael Vander Veen of Worthington, Minn., will present their research, “Implementing Self Myofascial Release (SMR) Techniques for Athletes.” Collaborating with them on this project was Danielle Fry of Fairfield, Iowa.
Following their presentation will be Courtney Goeldner of Clive, Iowa, and Emma Cress of Weskan, Kan., with their research, “Non-Contact ACL Injuries and Use of Ankle Support.” Jeremy Sheppard of Golden Valley, Minn., assisted in their research.
