NWC/Dordt student exhibit opens Dec. 4

Students from Northwestern and Dordt colleges will exhibit their artwork in Northwestern’s Te Paske Gallery Dec. 4–13 during the annual Northwestern/Dordt Student Art Exhibition. An opening reception is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, in the gallery, located in Northwestern’s Korver Visual Arts Center along Highway 10 in Orange City.

Northwestern College students will choose pieces for the show from among Dordt’s artwork submissions; Dordt students will choose pieces from among Northwestern’s submissions.

The work can be any medium: ceramics, computer art, drawing, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking or sculpture. The only requirement is that the work submitted must have been made while the student was attending Northwestern or Dordt.

Gallery hours are 8 a.m. to midnight Monday through Saturday and 1 p.m. to midnight Sunday. For more information, contact Rein Vanderhill, professor of art at Northwestern College, 712-707-7004.
