NWC to host guest piano recital

Specializing in new music, Barelos works mostly with 20th and 21st century pieces. All works to be played at the recital are from the 21st century.
The recital will consist of six pieces. Eadem Mutato Resurgo, written by Joseph Dangerfield, continues into Tryglyph, forming one piece. Hommage à W.A., written by David Gompper, will be followed by Downward Courses, written by Dr. Luke Dahn, who joined Northwestern’s faculty this fall. Free and Unticketed, composed by Barelos, will also be played, followed by Quiet Music, written by John Allemeier. The final piece for the evening will be
