In conjunction with Brain Awareness Week, this showing of Shadow Voices is sponsored by Northwestern's new Neuroscience and Persons (NAPs) career concentration program and Student Counseling Services.
Senior Kari Broadway is featured in this documentary, which looks at the history and stigma of mental illness, explains new treatment approaches and discusses how faith communities are beginning to be informed about what they can do to help.
