This exhibit features works from Northwestern's art and design faculty: Phil Scorza, Meghan Charbonneau and Amy Williams:

  • Scorza recently won Best in Show at the Pearson Lakes Art Center’s Biennial Exhibition with his piece “Unknown.” The award comes with an invitation to do a solo show later this year. This recognition comes on the heels of a Second Best in Show for his piece “Untitled (Portrait 2)” at the Sioux City Art Center.
  • Charbonneau’s artwork continues to impress museum directors and jurors around the country. Her celebrated work “In the Garden” will not be on display, but for good reason: It was just accepted to the Botanical show at the prestigious Manifest Gallery in Cincinnati—one of only 30 pieces selected out of 623 artist submissions from around the world.
  • Williams, the department’s new director of outreach and adjunct professor, is a talented ceramicist. Coming to NWC from George Fox University, where she recently had her own solo show, she has had her work featured in juried exhibits from Florida to Indiana to Washington. Her “Metalimnion” was included in Off-Center 2024: An International Ceramics Competition at Blue Line Arts in Roseville, California.
