Students enrolled in Dr. Josselyn-Cranson's Special Topics music class will present excerpts from four operas; Boris Godunov by Modest Mussorgsky, Pélleas et Mélisande by Claude Debussy, Mathis der Malher by Paul Hindemith, and Nixon in China by John Adams.
Along with these musical performances, the class will offer mini-lectures on the music, history, plot, and other aspects of the four operas in question.
