Northwestern’s Symphonic Band, directed by Dr. Timothy McGarvey, professor of music, will play a wide variety of music, including “Strange Humors,” “Military Symphony in F,” “Satiric Dances,” “Atlantic Zephyrs” and “Angels in the Architecture.”
Other pieces to be performed at the concert include Steve Rouse’s arrangement of the American spiritual “Wayfaring Stranger” and Percy Grainger’s folksong-like “Children’s March.”
