Open Hands is an instrumental jazz group comprised of four world-renowned musicians: bassist Abraham Laboriel, saxophonist Justo Almario, keyboardist Greg Mathieson and drummer Bill Maxwell. They have worked with a wide variety of musical legends, including Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, Ron Kenoly, Al Jarreau, Larry Carlton, Herb Alpert, Quincy Jones, Tito Puente, Manhattan Transfer, Andrae Crouch, Luther Vandross, Chaka Kahn and Queen Latifah.

This concert is co-sponsored by the Orange City Arts Council and Northwestern's music department.

Tickets can be purchased in advance: $8 for adults and $6 for students K-college or at the door: $10 for adults, $8 for students K-college. Group rates are available. Northwestern students, and faculty/staff families, get in free with their ID card. Tickets are available at Orange City banks, Town Hall, Dove Christian Bookstore, Northwestern's music department, True Vine Christian Bookstore in Sioux Center and Ray's Mid-Bell Music in Sioux City.
