Northwestern theatre students have been praying “picture prayers” for over a decade. Using principles from improvisational theatre, the actors take prayer requests or praises from members of the congregation and act out what has been described, including depicting God’s presence.
The Drama Ministries Ensemble (DME), Northwestern's traveling theatre company, has performed across the United States, including Off-Broadway and at the Crystal Cathedral. They are touring in the central U.S. from June 16 to Aug. 12.Contact
