Applied Performance Lab

This performance, open to the public, features music from the Russian classical tradition presented by Northwestern faculty members and students. Emily Lodine, lecturer in muris, will sing four songs by Rachmaninoff, accompanied by Dr. Kimberly Utke Svanoe. Dr. Juyeon Kang and Mary Lou Wielenga, piano and organ teachers, will perform a Rachmaninoff duet. Kang will also play some solo piano music by Scriabin. In addition, the Women's Choir will sing a piece by Alexander Gretchaninoff and a traditional Russian folk song.
