Brett Bastian is an adjunct faculty for the physician assistant program as well as a board certified physician assistant. Bastian earned his bachelor's degree in physician assistant studies from Wichita State University and his MPAS from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
Prior to his work with Northwestern's PA program, Bastian worked in family practice, neurosurgery, and orthopedic hand surgery. Bastian has also served as a guest lecturer and preceptor for PA students over the years. In addition, he is co-founder of Warriors Never Give Up, a faith-based nonprofit organization that provides outdoor adventures for combat, deployed, and service-connected veterans. He received Northwestern's Faculty Inspirational Service Award in 2023.
