Andrea Crew has served as a professor of practice with the Northwestern College PA program since 2022. She served as an adjunct faculty member for the program prior to her role as a professor of practice. Crew earned her bachelor's degree and physician assistant certificate from Des Moines University and went on to earn her MSPA from Pace University.

She has nearly three decades of experience as a physician assistant, having assisted with all aspects of patient care. She also conducted regular nursing home rounds and provided routine care to residents of nursing homes and assisted living facilities. As a special interest in her career, she also worked with the Clay County Foster Care Review Board, reviewing court documents and treatment plans and submitting recommendations to juvenile department judges.
