Jill Van Otterloo is the director of the Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies Program and a professor of practice. Before becoming the director, Van Otterloo served as the associate director. Prior to joining Northwestern, she practiced as a Physician Assistant at Mercy Family Clinic in Forest City, Iowa, for five years after earning a Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Des Moines University. She graduated from Iowa State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology, with a minor in psychology. She is currently practicing as a Physician Assistant at Sioux Center Health in Sioux Center, Iowa.
