Northwestern College is ranked as the nation’s best online Christian college and second-best Christian college in ratings recently released by College Consensus, a website that combines the latest results from the most trustworthy college rankings with thousands of student reviews.
“Northwestern is deeply committed to the values of Christian higher education and traditional liberal arts, emphasizing critical analysis, problem-solving, communication and leadership,” says a write-up about the college on College Consensus’ website, collegeconsensus.com/schools/northwestern-college-ia/. “Northwestern’s No. 1 mission is to send thoughtful, compassionate Christian leaders into their professions and careers.”
The College Consensus ranking averages rankings from organizations including U.S. News and Money magazine with student reviews published on sites such as Cappex, Niche and Unigo.
College Consensus also ranks Northwestern 21st among the best online early childhood education master’s degree programs, 46th in its ranking of best online graduate schools, 53rd among the nation’s best small colleges, and seventh among Midwest regional colleges.
“We are pleased to receive more high rankings that validate the standout education and strong value Northwestern provides in all of its undergraduate and graduate programs,” says Tamara Fynaardt, vice president for enrollment and marketing at Northwestern. “It’s exciting when external reviews and the ratings of students affirm that we are doing an excellent job providing a Christ-centered education and outstanding preparation for furthering their career goals and leading lives of significance.”
