Tim Collins has more than 18 years of experience in institutional technology as a solution architect, delivery engineer, systems administrator and instructor. In addition to teaching in Northwestern's Master of Education program, he works as a solution architect for Logicalis in Bellevue, Washington. In that role, he designs enterprise class server, virtualization, networking and storage architecture. Other roles he has held include senior solutions engineer for SunGard Availability Systems, application support specialist for Nuance Communications, IT administrator for Mod Systems, and IT field technician for Safeway. He earned a bachelor's degree in information technology and a master's degree in information systems from the University of Phoenix.
