Stacy Mentzer has worked in higher education for 15 years, serving in various capacities with Iowa Central Community College including as an instructor, Medical Laboratory Technician Program Coordinator/Lead Instructor, Executive Director of Institutional Effectiveness, and currently the Vice President of Instruction. Prior to transitioning to higher education, she worked in healthcare for 10 years. Mentzer has diverse experience in writing curricula and assessments for K-12 and higher education as well as the board of certification exam questions for the MLT and MLS Certification Exams.
Mentzer earned a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration and Information Systems, a Master of Arts in Adult Education and Training and a Doctorate of Philosophy in Higher Education Administration from the University of Phoenix.
