Morgan Tubbesing teaches online courses and oversees student teaching for special education endorsements for the graduate education department. Tubbesing previously served as a full-time faculty member with Northwestern's education department. Prior to that she was a special educator for schools in Des Moines and Perry, Iowa, and South Sioux City and Nebraska City, Nebraska. She also has experience as a Response to Intervention (RTI) coordinator, a scorer of student-teacher portfolios, and a special education strategist substitute for the Northwest AEA.

Tubbesing has served as a student teacher supervisor and content developer for graduate-level education courses. She's also given presentations on the Theory of Multiple Intelligence, the Woodcock-Johnson Tests of Academic Achievement III, and RTI student data analysis and team timeline. A Briar Cliff University graduate, she earned a Master of Arts degree in special education from Morningside College.
