Dr. Marco Hicks-Brown has over 20 years of experience working in education, holding teacher and leadership positions. She currently serves as a Special Education Curriculum Specialist with the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice. She delivers training to special education staff, supports teachers as well as assists in and oversees IEPs and behavior interventions and transition plans for students.
Hicks-Brown earned her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from Mercer University, an Education Specialist Degree from Lincoln Memorial University, a Master of Education in Special Education from Armstrong Atlantic State University and a Bachelor of Science from Savannah State University.
