Jolene Philo is a special needs author, blogger, speaker, and educator. She draws on her personal experience of parenting a child with PTSD caused by early and frequent medical treatment from birth through age 4. She speaks nationally about early childhood trauma at foster and adoptive care conferences. Author of Does My Child Have PTSD? What To Do When Your Child Is Hurting from the Inside Out, released in 2015.
Prior to her speaking and writing career, Philo worked as a special education teacher, classroom teacher, and coordinated the talented and gifted program with Boone Community Schools.
