Diego Romero also serves as principal of Alice Terry Elementary in Englewood, Colorado. He previously was an elementary principal in Commerce City, Colorado, and an assistant principal, English language facilitator and Spanish teacher in Denver. He earned an educational leadership and policy studies certificate at the University of Denver, an Ed.S. in educational leadership and policy studies at Northern Colorado, an M.A. in curriculum/instruction and linguistically diverse education at the University of Colorado Denver, and a bachelor's degree in Spanish, political science education and business management at Hope College.
