Northwestern to host Willow Creek Global Leadership Summit in August
Thursday, June 8, 2017
Northwestern College will be a host site for the 2017 Willow Creek Global Leadership Summit Aug. 10–11. Two days of presentations by internationally known leadership experts will be livestreamed in the 200-seat England Theatre of the DeWitt Theatre Arts Center. Registration to attend the Global Leadership Summit at Northwestern is $199 (or $169 for groups of 10 or more) if you register before June 27.
This year’s world-class Summit faculty includes Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg, Equal Justice Initiative founder Bryan Stevenson, star of CNBC’s “The Profit” Marcus Lemonis, and Rawandan genocide survivor Immaculée Ilibagiza. They join more than a dozen other diverse thought leaders from the business and nonprofit sectors.
The Global Leadership Summit will be telecast live to more than 400,000 people at more than 600 locations worldwide. Northwestern is site number 656. “I’m thrilled Northwestern was chosen as a host for the Summit,” said Northwestern president Greg Christy. “I’ve attended every year for more than a decade. I keep going back because it’s one of the most significant, most inspiring leadership development experiences I’ve had. I can’t wait for others in our community to experience it.”
