Northwestern's Board of Trustees welcomes two new members

The Northwestern College Board of Trustees welcomed two new members at its spring meeting April 16–17.

Albert Okine of Dakota Dunes, S.D., has been employed as a psychiatric physician assistant at Dean and Associates in Sioux City since 2008. Okine earned his bachelor’s degree from Northwestern College in 1995 and a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from the University of South Dakota. He and his wife, Mary, have four children.
Julie Hulstein of Sioux Center, Iowa, owns Bar-K Cattle Corporation with her husband, Kirk. A retired music teacher, she is also the CEO of Vi Bella Jewelry, a Christian organization that strives to help at-risk women in Haiti, Mexico and the United States. After graduating with a fine arts degree from Dordt College, Hulstein went on to earn a Master of Music degree from the University of South Dakota. The Hulsteins’ four children include Mathew, a 2008 Northwestern graduate, and Nichole, who will graduate in May.
