Trapp speaks at composition conference

Dr. Joonna Trapp, associate professor of English at Northwestern College, presented a paper at the Conference on College Composition and Communication (CCCC) in New Orleans, April 1-5.
Trapp gave a presentation on John Amos Commenius, a 17th century education philosopher, as part of a panel she organized on forgotten rhetoricians. She also organized and chaired an all-day workshop, "Reflection as Rhetorical Art," and served on the newcomers' committee.
Trapp is the program vice-chair of the Assembly for Expanded Perspectives on Learning, which meets at the CCCC conference.
