Jeff Barker, professor of theatre and speech, team-taught a course in the doctoral program at the Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies in Jacksonville, Fla., in June. Barker and Constance Cherry, associate professor of worship and Christian ministries at Indiana Wesleyan University, taught "The Renewal of Sunday Worship: Music and the Arts."
The institute's Doctor of Worship Studies degree is specifically designed for worship teachers, music ministers, worship leaders and pastors. It is the only doctoral program in the world with an entire curriculum designed around worship studies.
