Edman presents workshop at Maine college

Dr. Laird Edman, associate professor of psychology at Northwestern College, presented a full-day workshop on teaching critical thinking to the faculty of Husson College in Bangor, Maine, on Jan. 3.
An expert on teaching and assessing critical thinking, Edman has had research published in Psychological Reports, The Journal of the National Collegiate Honors Council, Resources in Education, Teaching and Learning in Honors, and The National Honors Report.
