Patrick Hummel, M.Div. Director of Missions

Patrick Hummel provides leadership and oversight for Northwestern College's short-term mission opportunities, including its Spring Service Partnerships (SSP) and Summer of Service (SOS) program. As director of missions, he develops and maintains relationships with domestic and international mission partners; coordinates the recruitment, selection and training of the SOS team and SSP student leaders and faculty/staff advisers; directs fundraising and publicity efforts for SSP and SOS programs; and supervises four student mission coordinators.

Patrick is a Taylor University graduate who earned a Master of Divinity degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Prior to his current position, he served as Northwestern's director of residence life and worked as an assistant dean of residence life at Calvin College and a resident director at Anderson University.
