Favorite book
I love the book Hinds Feet on High Places by Hannah Hurnard. It is an allegory, making it an interesting read that explores the struggles of faith and suffering. What I love most is how it depicts God as a patient shepherd gently guiding those in his care to spiritual growth and freedom.

Family
I am one of many Raiders in my family. My parents met when they were students at Northwestern, and my father has been the head men's wrestling coach at NWC since 2008. My four older siblings, along with three in-laws, all attended Northwestern as well.

Trip I'd like to take or dream vacation
I had the opportunity to go to the Czech Republic with Northwestern's wrestling team when I was in high school, and I absolutely loved it! Going back and getting to visit some other European countries as well would be really sweet.

Favorite place on Northwestern's campus
It's so hard to choose! There are so many spaces on campus where I get to interact with people I love. A place I often found myself when I was a student was the first floor of the DeWitt Learning Commons. The librarians often had fun study break activities, and it was a great place to run into lots of people.

College search advice
During my college search, it was easy for me to get overwhelmed and forget that God truly is sovereign. There were times I thought I could somehow mess up God's plan if I chose the wrong school. I absolutely loved my experience at Northwestern, but I believe God would have been faithful no matter where I ended up. You'll never know exactly how your college experience will play out—it's OK to step out in faith.
