My favorite movie is The Prestige. It’s a thriller about magic tricks, but the movie itself is like a magic trick because you can watch it multiple times and always catch something new!
Trip I’d like to take or dream vacation
I would love to take a trip to New Zealand. My husband and I are both big fans of The Lord of the Rings, which was filmed there. Mountains and beaches in the same place?! Amazing. It would be a dream place to visit.
Hobbies
I enjoy watching and coaching softball, putting puzzles together, embroidering, creating music and making a space a home.
Favorite place on Northwestern’s campus
I love the campus green because it’s such a hub for fellowship. As a student, I loved walking across campus knowing I would run into a friend, get to watch students play sand volleyball or Spikeball, or simply take in the beauty of creation.
College search advice
During your college search, I encourage you to remember what Scripture says in Colossians 1:17: “He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.” There are so many decisions to make throughout the college search process: Where should I go to school? What should I study? What dorm should I live in? But there is also so much peace in knowing that Christ is before you and holds all things together. With a heart fixed on Christ, you can trust that He will bless your steps in your college search!
