Rick Loutsch has served as the director of clinical education for the Northwestern College Physician Assistant Studies program since 2021. Prior to his work with the physician assistant program, Loutsch was the program director of the athletic training program where he formerly served as the clinical education coordinator.

Loutsch earned his B.S. in exercise science with an emphasis in athletic training from the University of Iowa. He holds an M.S. in exercise science from the University of Iowa as well as his Doctor of Athletic Training (DAT) from the University of Idaho. Along with his work at Northwestern, Loutsch previously worked as an athletic trainer with CNOS in Dakota Dunes, SD.
