Professor Breen is a CPA with experience in private, public and nonprofit accounting. Most recently, she served for eight years as chief financial officer for the Luke Society, a mission agency that seeks to share the gospel while partnering with indigenous medical professionals. She also was an audit and accounting manager for Van Bruggen & Vande Vegte in Orange City for 12 years. The Northwestern College accounting and finance graduate has also served as treasurer and deacon at her church and treasurer of the Orange City Christian School Covenant Foundation.
