Professor Lofthus obtained his master’s degree in strategic communications from Liberty University, where he is studying for a doctoral degree in communications. He holds a bachelor’s degree in digital film production, an associate’s degree in arts and sciences, and a certificate in biblical studies. He previously taught courses in communications at Wenatchee Valley College, Grace Christian University and Northeast Community College.

In addition to teaching, he is a freelance video producer and previously worked as the business outreach coordinator for Ferry County, Washington.
