Sherry Lang ’93 Assistant Director of the NEXT Program

Sherry Lang is the assistant director of Northwestern NEXT, a program that educates and mentors college-aged students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She is a graduate of NWC, where she earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education, and has 29 years of experience as a teacher. During 14 of those years, she was a teacher and then director of the Wee Blessings Preschool in Orange City. As director, she worked closely with Northwestern NEXT students who were placed in paraprofessional roles at Wee Blessings. Sherry also serves on the college's National Alumni Board and was the former director of children's ministries at First Reformed Church in Orange City.
