Step into the world of Northwestern theatre. At this special Northwestern College Raider Day, you can interact with theatre faculty, watch Northwestern theatre in action, and audition or interview for a scholarship.

Registration for Theatre Raider Day will open in September.

Sample Schedule of Events

7:30 p.m. on Thursday Northwestern College play performance (optional for those who wish to start their visit Thursday evening   (DeWitt Theatre Arts Center)
8:30 a.m. Welcome, Prayer and Introductions (DeWitt Learning Commons)
9 a.m. Campus Tour with the NWC Student Ambassadors
10:05 a.m. Chapel (Christ Chapel)
10:40 a.m. Theatre Department Welcome/Theology of the Arts (DeWitt Theatre Arts Center)
11 a.m. Lunch/Q&A with Theatre Department Faculty and Staff
12:15 p.m. Backstage Tour (from the box office to the catwalks)
1 p.m. Auditions for Theatre Scholarships 
2:10 p.m. For students: “Acting I” class (DeWitt Theatre Arts Center Black Box)
2:10 p.m. For parents: Financial Aid Q&A (DeWitt Theatre Arts Center)
3:30 p.m. Drama Ministries Ensemble Rehearsal (DeWitt Theatre Arts Center)
5 p.m. Dinner with Theatre Students (prospective students only)
7:30 p.m. Northwestern College play performance  (DeWitt Theatre Arts Center)
10 p.m. Stay overnight with a theatre student (optional)

Theatre Production Scholarship

The goal of the Northwestern College theatre department is to equip theatre artists for the task of developing their creative gifts for service in the Kingdom of Christ.
