While technically there is no deadline for applying for financial aid to attend Northwestern College, the sooner you apply, the more likely you are to have access to the limited funds available at the federal, state and institutional level. To maximize your opportunity to receive an optimum financial aid package, note the dates below.
| October 1 | The earliest date after which you can file your FAFSA for the upcoming school year |
| April 1 | You should file your FAFSA before April 1 if possible to ensure maximum access to limited federal, state and institutional funds. |
| June 30 | Iowa residents: If you haven't already filed your FAFSA, you must do it by June 30 to be considered for the Iowa Tuition Grant. |
