Assistant Track & Field Throws Coach (part-time)
Northwestern College is looking for a passionate, experienced throws coach to assist the men’s and women’s track and field program for the 2018–19 season and beyond. This is a part-time position with 15-20 hours per week December through May (6 months). The candidate will develop and oversee workouts for our throws crew. Candidate will also work alongside other members of the coaching staff to ensure our throwers receive the instruction to succeed in their given events: discus, hammer, javelin and shot put.
Coaching certification is required. Candidate with college coaching experience is preferred. Excellent communication, critiquing and motivation skills are desirable.
