Theatre Scenic Studio Supervisor (part-time)
Northwestern College seeks a theatre scenic studio supervisor to work approximately 660 hours/year. This caring leader will work Monday through Friday afternoons during the school year, guiding crews of students in quality and safe scenery construction. Duties will also include studio equipment maintenance, safety training and ordering of materials/supplies. Applicants should have advanced carpentry skills and the ability to read construction drawings. Tasks will require knowledge of or the ability to learn modern scenery construction techniques, rigging and welding.
The preferred candidate will hold a theatre-related degree and know how to use Vectorworks. All candidates must have a vibrant Christian faith, a sense of humor and an eagerness to help students succeed.
