Northwestern College invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in macroeconomics to begin in the fall of 2017. The ideal candidate holds a Ph.D. in macroeconomics, an established record of excellence in undergraduate teaching, a research trajectory, and a commitment to the integration of faith and learning. Collaboration in the business and economics department, institutional service and student advising are also an integral part of this position. The successful candidate can expect to teach courses including Principles and Intermediate Macroeconomics, Money and Banking, International Economics, Labor Economics, and possibly courses in one’s area of specialization. Preference will be given to persons committed to excellence in liberal arts education and the involvement of students in research. ABDs will be considered.
