Cheer & Dance Graduate Assistant
Northwestern College is seeking applicants for a graduate assistant (GA) for cheer and dance. The position is a 10-month appointment (August to May – could start earlier if available). Position will report to the head cheer/dance coach and will be serving as an assistant coach in all areas of the program, including recruiting, practice planning and execution, and travel.
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- Former athlete with a desire to pursue coaching
- Bachelor’s degree and acceptance into the Northwestern College Master of Education program or an online program elsewhere
This is a 2- to 3-year position determined by program of study. Compensation includes a stipend, graduate tuition for the Northwestern College program and housing with an on-campus meal plan.
