Accounts Payable Accounting Associate

Northwestern College has an opening for an accounts payable accounting associate at either ¾-time or full-time. This position is responsible for weekly accounts payable, specifically timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices for payment of college bills. Other responsibilities include facilitating the procurement card (p-card) system, assisting with the budget function of the college, and assisting the business office in report generation and record keeping to monitor the financial performance of the college. 

Qualifications include:

  • Associate’s degree or bachelor’s degree in accounting is preferred.
  • Some related experience in accounting is preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of accounting systems and proficiency in Excel and Word.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, detail-oriented, and the ability to interface effectively and professionally with others.
