Physician Assistant

Northwestern College invites applications for two full-time, 12-month professor of practice faculty positions, beginning August 2022. PA faculty are the primary instructors and coordinators of the curriculum and education experience of students in the PA program. Additionally, program faculty are involved with all aspects of program administration including selection of students, curriculum design and implementation, and assessment of students and the program. 

Required Qualifications: Candidates will have current board certification and state licensure as a physician assistant, demonstration of fit with the Northwestern College’s PA program mission and vision, and agreement to complete master’s degree training within three years of start date of employment with Northwestern.

Experience and Skills: The candidate(s) should have a minimum of three years as of clinical experience with preference given to those with experience working with PA’s and/or PA students and/or experience in teaching or research. Applicants must possess strong communication skills, be able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and meet required deadlines. Requisite knowledge of computers and technology is expected.
