Music Office Administrative Assistant (part-time)

The Northwestern College music department seeks an administrative assistant beginning Aug. 15. This 30-hour-per-week, 9-month-per-year staff colleague is the first face of our music program in the DeWitt Music Hall/Christ Chapel. Duties include reception, clerical tasks, typing concert programs, preparing bulk mailings, coordinating room reservations, managing scholarships/auditions, overseeing patrons’ donations and more. The position also includes supporting 3 full-time faculty members and 20 adjunct instructors.

The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office products. Experience with graphic design software such as Canva will be helpful.  A high degree of professionalism, confidentiality, efficiency and accuracy is crucial, as is a deep capacity to love our students.
