Northwestern College invites applications for a full-time, open rank faculty position in nursing to begin August 15, 2022. The successful candidate can expect to teach courses (including some clinicals) in the areas of med-surg/critical care, maternal/newborn care, pediatrics, leadership, research and other areas as needed. The department is especially interested in candidates who can work collegially and effectively with others, in addition to carrying out scholarly activity, student advising, and faculty governance responsibilities. The normal teaching load for this position is 24 hours per academic year, along with expectations for scholarship and service.

Required Qualifications: Candidates with either a terminal degree or a master’s degree in nursing will be considered. Candidates will exhibit a love of Christ, an embrace of the Gospel, and support the college’s mission as expressed in our Statement of Christian Identity, Vision for Learning and Vision for Diversity. Northwestern College is affiliated with the Reformed Church in America. Hiring preference will be given to persons with teaching experience who engage students in their research and scholarly agenda.
