Biology (Anatomy)

Northwestern College invites applications for a faculty position (open rank) in biology to begin in the summer of 2020. The ideal candidate holds a graduate degree in anatomy or other biological/medical field and will bring enthusiasm, experience and energy in the development of clinically relevant didactic basic sciences content to graduate and undergraduate students and engage students in their research and scholarly agenda. The successful candidate can expect to teach courses primarily in the areas of human anatomy and physiology. Other courses may include histology, neuroscience, pathophysiology or a different area of specialization. Hiring preference will be given to persons with teaching experience using human cadavers and who are eager to also integrate technology into the learning experience. Northwestern College recently remodeled and expanded its cadaver lab and teaching spaces in anticipation of offering new graduate programs in health care fields.
