Hubbard speaks at New Orleans conference

Dr. Robert Hubbard, associate professor of theatre and speech at Northwestern College, spoke at the Association of Theatre in Higher Education conference in New Orleans on July 27.
He presented a paper entitled “More Than Bread Alone: Community-based Drama as Kingdom Work." The presentation was part of an interfaith panel discussion entitled “Critical, Theoretical and Historical Approaches to Religion/Spirituality and Theatre/Performance.”
Earlier in July, Hubbard coordinated the drama camp at the International Music Camp, located at the International Peace Gardens on the U.S./Canadian border. Nearly 100 campers ranging from 7th-12th grade attended the weeklong theatre camp.
