Fine arts

Maybe you’re a painter, a singer, an actor—or possibly you enjoy viewing the work of other artists. Or maybe you don’t—yet.

Fabulous sight and sound experiences are just a walk away for students living on campus. There are monthly exhibitions in our brand new Te Paske Gallery, over 20 concerts and recitals a season in the award-winning Christ Chapel concert hall, and theatre productions every month in one of two high-quality theatres: the England Proscenium Theatre and the Allen Black Box Theatre. We’ve hosted nationally known artists like painter/sculptor Alfonse Borysewicz of New York City and musicians like the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra.

Enjoy the sounds of our own A cappella Choir, Symphonic Band, Percussion Ensemble or seven other vocal and instrumental ensembles. Laugh with Black V at one of their late-night comedy improv shows, be romanced by Romeo and Juliet or be wowed by original musicals like And God Said. No matter what your major or other interests, don’t miss the chance to get art smart at Northwestern.
